Through the trees (2)

Through the Trees is an impression of the alpine landscape near my home, where layers of light, colour, and reflection create a sense of quiet immersion in nature. Vibrant greens emerge against deep blues and turquoise tones, capturing the shifting atmosphere of the landscape and the stillness of water beneath the trees.

Vertical trunks draw the eye through the composition, creating both rhythm and depth, while softened edges and layered textures allow the work to move between memory and abstraction. The painting evokes the restorative feeling of standing quietly within the landscape, surrounded by light, reflection, and the calm presence of the natural world.
